Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/Hybrid marketing

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Dear Steve,

I see your point, and everything say makes sense. Hybrid marketing has just arised as a response or further evolution to Viral Marketing. As a New Marketing consultant I can attest to the veracity of the provided information. It is also never copied from sources other than personal talks with and comments from Jim Farley (Ford), Martin Cserba (101Worldwide) and Simon Clift (Unilever). None of the mentioned marketing gurus have made, as far as I know, any direct contribution to (or even know about the existence of) this article on Wikipedia. I agree that it might be a little too early to include this cutting edge technical information in a quality Encyclopaedia. On the other side, the trend is alive and kicking among marketing insiders both in U.S. and Europe, and the name "hybrid marketing" has more or less been established to describe this mkt trend. Actually the domain "hybridmarketing.com" is already taken by a company that has nothing to do with the 3 mentioned gurus or the real "hybrid marketing" at all... so I cannot see in this regard how could "hybrid marketing" be considered propaganda. Please consider this.

Whatever you decide (republish this article or not) I'm happy (!) that someone takes time to thoroughly review what gets into Wikipedia. I think quality of information is a must!

best wishes,

pepe
