Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/Gothador

This is definitely a topic that needs to stay in Wikipedia and I have a number of reasons why. For clarity's sake, I will list them in a neat and concise fashion.
In rebuttal to the Google argument, I provide a link to a Google search page that lists a number of Gothador finds, far above 10 hits, even more than 10 pages of hits. The link is here: [[1]]
In rebuttal to the Speedy Delete for no assertion of notability, I offer the following argument, taken directly from the Gothador Forum. "Our users have posted a total of 542800 articles We have 103976 registered users" If that does not speak of notability, there isn't much that is going to. Over one hundred thousand people agree that Gothador is note-worthy.
The MMORPG of Gothador and it's conjoined forum have an intricate relationship that most would not and could not find in any RPG on the web. The comradery that this game has create spans the globe and that doesn't stop the creators of the game from participating in the game themselves. Other MMORPG games, in my opinion, should take a business lesson from Hunted Cow Studios as they provided weekly updates, consistant upgrades and 24 hour live support, all in the hopes of better helping their subscribers enjoy their online gaming experience to the fullest.
Were Wikipedia to delete the article on Gothador, it would diminish Wikipedia for the loss of information. With over one hundred thousand registered users that participate in Gothador, the loss of readers to this search engine would be noticeable.
This decision should not be made based on what a few people's frustrations have shown. This decision should be made fairly and impartially, and I would hope that, before the decision is made, Wikipedia would investigate the matter themselves. Gothador offers a two-week trial membership, and I would hope that two weeks would be enough time to show the necessity for a Wikipedia listing.

- Wonder if the recently created User:Truffers will drop by and make a comment based entirely round the flawed argument of WP:OTHERCRAPEXISTS and WP:ILIKEIT? DarkSaber2k 14:34, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
