Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/Extinctioners

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

There is no valid reason that the comic Extinctioners should be removed from wikipedia anymore than Superman should. There may not be as much of a fan base as Marvel or the like, but it is one of the few true anthro comics. You want to talk about people in tight clothing? Look at the fricking X-Men! Do you see Rogue or Storm in something that doesn't look sexy? Or Wonder Woman, Catwoman, or just about any comic that has a female superhero for that matter. The fact that the extinctioner fems have tight clothing is no bloody excuse to take the page off. Just a bunch of furry-haters who want to whine and complain because there are people who like this stuff. To those that are out there, get a bloody life.—Preceding unsigned comment added by RobertSilvermyst (talk • contribs)

Please calm down. This isn't anything to do with furry hating, it's the process that Wikipedia goes through to ensure it doesn't turn into a repository for un-encyclopedic topics. I agree that Extinctioners should fit just fine on Wikipedia, but accusing people of being furry haters is the wrong tone to be taking. (Especially considering policies like WP:CIVIL and Assume Good Faith.) And please sign your posts with four tildes. Tony Fox 04:54, 6 June 2006 (UTC)
