Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/Confraternity of Catholic Saints

From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

I think there is no need to delete this entry because it will help many young filipinos be inspired to be Saints. This is a unique association in the Philippines which is now a "pro facto" recognized by the Diocese of Cubao and recommended by many Bishops from Croatia and Europe.

Unfortunately, these are not the criteria on which articles in Wikipedia are created or deleted. Wikipedia is not here to inspire holiness or unholiness or anything else. It is just an encyclopedia and it aims to have article about notable topics. Please have a look at that page: "notable" rougly means "covered by multiple, independent, reliable source". If a friend of mine writes a story about me in a local bulletin, this is not an independent, reliable source! The discussion is just to ascertain whether your association is "notable" in this sense, not about its merits. Otherwise, we should have an article about each good and worthy person in the world, and no articles about dictators, criminals, and illnesses!
