[edit] Protologism: Rejoiner
Whilst it is true that the Google test reveals only a relatively small number of references, this term in various forms is in increasing use within the virtualisation technology market. Several variations of the term are prevalent including Compute Resource (947 hits on Google), Compute Layer (171 hits on Google) and Compute Paradigm (26 hits on Google) when used in the context of virtualisation. I have updated the page to reflect these alternative titles.
Also added a link to an article from Gartner, the world's foremost technology research organisation, which makes reference to Compute Area Network. This link was not picked up from a Google search. --Jellyfish@lineone.net 16:49, 24 July 2006 (UTC)
