Should those nonsense SPA comments on the dicussion be removed or not? after all they are pretty pointless and its just an attempt to prevent the AFD from progressing, not contributing to the dicussion... AndreNatas (talk) 12:37, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

I'd say yes to removing them (the closing admin. can check the history), although it's not like they advance their cause in any way. But there was some vandalism, and attempts to remove the SPA tags and those comments contribute nothing. freshacconcispeaktome 13:09, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
I'd say to retain the SPA comments, unless they are offensive. It is traditional that comments from all users are carefully listened to for their value as arguments, even if they are from SPAs. When an admin weighs the !votes, he can adjust for the fact that some participants have no track record in the encyclopedia. This is basically what it says at Wikipedia:Deletion guidelines for administrators#Rough consensus. EdJohnston (talk) 13:44, 20 March 2008 (UTC)

ok thanks for your help and I suppose your right, they won't influence the overall concensus in any shape or form, after all "it is not a majority vote". AndreNatas (talk) 15:29, 20 March 2008 (UTC)
