Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/Casey Serin
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
I must agree with the first poster. This is an attack page with the strategy behind it well documented by posters at www.exurbannation.blogspot.com.
Though the subject of this article has received flurries of attention from the mainstream media, his activities in real estate are hardly rare or notable given the real estate climate in the past five years. 67.186.234.4 02:52, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
The previous commenter, with IP 67.186.234.4, is likely Nigel Swaby, a mortgage broker with a personal interest in having Serin appear as innocent as possible.
- While I disagree with the first commenter, and believe the Casey Serin article should be kept, the Nigel Swaby redirect to Casey Serin is frivolous, possible malicious, and should be deleted. Swaby is a supporter of Serin's and has written about him on his blog a number of times, but neither merits an article in his own right nor is associated closely enough to merit a redirect to Serin's article. --Jkew 17:30, 16 March 2007 (UTC)
- The Galina Serin redirect to Casey Serin is similarly frivolous and should be a candidate for deletion. Saranary 15:52, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Keep
I think the article should be kept. Serin is the face of the subprime meltdown in the USA.
