Everyone knows about many Khabad khassidim, who believe, that their rebbe is alive, and since his death no heir was nominated. It is of huge importance to discuss the personality of the man who might become Lubavitcher rebbe and prevent the future rift in the movement. What is interesting too, is the way of decision making in Khabad, when the candidate who was the elder and who was heir apparent and who had son and heir to its position ceded his rights to younger candidate, after whom it was clear a leadership vacuum would be createdNarshavs 19:34, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

Would Barry remained associated with Khabad movement and remaining rebbe MM follower he would undoubtedly become rebbe and help Khabad to be a living chaddidic movement without strong messianism, but for not known reasons he refused taking this role.Narshavs 19:34, 11 September 2006 (UTC)

He could become rebbe however during his life and his children inherit it, thus preventing well known schism.Narshavs 19:40, 11 September 2006 (UTC)
