[edit] AfD Analysis
[edit] Valid Deletion Arguments
- Does not assert notability well
- It is not very independently notable (could elaborate on that a bit better)
[edit] Invalid Deletion Arguments
- Rules 1 & 2
- The group does not exist
- WP:BLP1E, would apply if the total coverge by reliable sources are minor
- WP:DUST, as it hardly applies here, again, it would probably apply better if the coverage by reliable sources are minor and the sources are limited. Secondly, WP:DUST is neither a policy nor a guideline
- WP:NOT an internet directory (I really find it hard figuring out how this argument even fits, as it was unexplained)
[edit] Valid Keep Arguments
- It is referenced
- There are reliable sources
- Passes WP:N very well
- Subject receives media attention
[edit] Invalid Keep Arguments
- The group has been around for a while
- It is a large group
- News worthy material
- Variants of WP:NOTINHERITED
[edit] Summary
The consensus leans towards the keep, as the deletion arguments were not well-explained. It is true that this article does not assert the notability well, however, the article should be improved to assert the notability, due to the large amount of reliable sources this article has and the coverage, the article does pass WP:N quite easily.
