[edit] At what level of notability are subject requests to delete meaningless?

Angela Beesley from reading this is what I think is the cusp of this. If she were more notable, I would not support based on her request. How notable does someone have to be before the request or their wishes for no article is irrelevant? Lawrence Cohen 22:39, 8 December 2007 (UTC)

There's no hard and fast rule, Lawrence. If someone is borderline notable by most reasonable people's standards, we often agree to courtesy delete. But there's always room for disagreement. SlimVirgin (talk)(contribs) 23:09, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
The line Durova seeks to draw for this is inclusion in paper encylopedias. 86.42.83.73 (talk) 16:38, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
That's right, including specialty encyclopedias (encyclopedias of music, of politics, etc.). If someone finds a better way of avoiding the slippery slope I might support that. At least this could be verifiable. DurovaCharge! 18:12, 16 December 2007 (UTC)
