For management of such issues, I had always maintained that we should have a cadre of niche administrators! I as an administrator can not manage mathematics, and a mathematician may not manage these issues pertaining to the Indian social science. --Bhadani 14:09, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- No, because Wikipedia rests completely on the assumption that we do not and cannot certify the authority or credentials of contributors. Any administrator can apply policy, can determine whether articles are verifiable, etc. independent of subject area. Dpbsmith (talk) 15:16, 15 July 2006 (UTC)
- Yes, I do accept. It is obvious. But, I was talking about a scenario where we have to get our contents elevated to compete with the Best and becoming Better than the Best. I was talking of a day when instead of searching references, wikipedia shall itself become a source of reference. Of cource, all our contents shall surely continue to have references.
