Wikipedia talk:Articles for deletion/2011 Atlantic hurricane season

I've been reading these pages and it seems as if every time someone tries to create a page about the 2011 season, someone just deletes it. Even worse, nobosy can make it now because someone decided to block the page which defeats the very purpose of the site. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 152.163.100.11 (talk • contribs) 09:59, 21 November 2005 (UTC).

WP is designed as an encyclopedia, albeit one anyone can edit. However there are certain criteria that must be met, including notability. If it is felt it is not notable, then a user may request an AfD so the community can decide to delete it, if it is deleted, but is recreated with much the same content, it may be blocked, as further edts are considered vandalism.
