[edit] What's up
- This article was previously nominated for deletion on 2005-02-15. The result of that discussion was "no consensus". You can read the prior discussion at Wikipedia:Votes for deletion/What's up.
This is a non-notable and unencyclopedic song. It isn't even encyclopedic enough to merge into the album it came from. Why? 08:30, 12 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- ...It appears we're voting on the expression, not the song? Anyway, the song was popular and a favorite of mine in particular, so it should have an article of its own, not just a redirect to the album page. Everyking 09:00, 12 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Keep. The VFD was botched and the expression is certaintly notable. Samboy 09:28, 12 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Keep popular songs and Everyking's favorites, and expressions that spawned major advertising campaigns such as Wasssssaaaaap (sp?). Kappa 13:11, 12 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- While I'm all in favor of continuing a discussion if it has not established consensus yet, this should be done by extending the existing thread. Starting anew means people will have to repeat themselves or their arguments might get ignored.
- Personal vote is to merge/redirct to 4 Non Blondes. Radiant! 20:12, Mar 12, 2005 (UTC)
- Article spouts some complete garbage about Yiddish, hard to see how it's relevant.
I await rewrite before voting. No redirect forthcoming. Delete Lacrimosus 21:14, 14 Mar 2005 (UTC) - Merge, redirect, delete, anything, just kill it - David Gerard 14:53, 13 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete or redirect, wikipedia is not a slang dictionary. Gazpacho 20:42, 14 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete, slang dictionary definition. Megan1967 09:27, 17 Mar 2005 (UTC)
