[edit] VinylVideo
It is apparently a real technology, revived and refined in the late 1990s as kind of art project and installation. But this article doesn't reference that it seems to have been extremely limited in release. I'm particularly struck by the limited editions of ten copies which are priced from 6,000 euros to 12,000 euros.[1] I'm extremely inclined to view this article currently as "art" or a prank rather than as a legitimate article.
