[edit] Vancura translations

What to do with this? I say delete, but maybe someone has an idea how to fit it in WP. -- Solitude 13:02, Oct 14, 2004 (UTC)

  • Yuk, horrible. But then, we have a list of the names of Harry Potter chapters in every language except Klingon, so precedence may unfortunately say keep (even though I voted to delete the Harry Potter nonsense). Dunc_Harris| 13:22, 14 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Rename to List of Vancura translations, I guess, but I consider myself an urbane, well-read old fogey, and I've never heard of the author before. No stance taken, in general, but I should very much prefer that this be like-with-like and incorporated into or appended to whatever article we have on the author. If subpages worked, it would be a subpage. Geogre 14:40, 14 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Not the place for this. --Improv 18:19, 14 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete, this is, by the way, the English wikipedia. siroχo 20:14, Oct 14, 2004 (UTC)
    • I disagree -- this is the Wikipedia in English, not for things notable to the English. I still think this is not encyclopedic though, as per my above note :) --Improv 20:21, 14 Oct 2004 (UTC)
  • Delete. Besides no context, it's just a list of non-notable, non-wikified names. RickK 23:56, Oct 14, 2004 (UTC)
