- Delete Non-traditional publishing. SARU PRESS INTERNATIONAL, founded in 1980 by the Society for the Advancement of Racial Unity, is an international writers cooperative. We are gradually building a large stock of poetry otherwise out of stock in the United States. Our books are available, for sale or consignment, to bookstores at a 50% discount in most cases.
