This article is absolutely unsuitable for an encyclopedia. It is a collection of information that is irrelevant to the article. There is no reason why anyone would want such information as provided (the views of philosophers) and the links are all spammy. Some of it cannot possibly be sourced and is POV.   • Merge into Suicide. There's some decent info in here, but articles about the "pros and cons" of things aren't encyclopedic, and the article isn't really about its title topic anyway. Andrew Lenahan - Starblind 15:57, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Merge anything sourced and useful into Suicide - or perhaps Philosophical views of suicide, since the information presented is almost strictly philosophical in nature - but no cut-and-pasting. The style here is too POV to be kept as-is. Arkyan • (talk) 16:23, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Do something with it I'm not sure merging is the best solution but perhaps renaming and refocusing is not a bad idea. There's some decent info in there. There's also a bunch of junk and this should all be sorted out. In any case, the title is inappropriate: besides the capitalization and the obvious concerns about the "pros" of any kind of death, it's also not descriptive of the content which is centered about individuals and associations who have defended suicide as a valid option.   • Delete The content is all from a single source that misrepresents the opinions of the thinkers named, especially Donne and Montesquieu, as "supporting" suicide, or more risibly, being concerned with capitalist coercion of laborers. Djcastel 17:25, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Delete as a POV fork. "The pros of anything" is not an encyclopedic topic. --Born2x 17:33, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Delete as OR and because we have only the word of people talking about it from the wrong side. Absent credible support from those who have tried this option and found it to have given the advantages claimed, needs to eb deleted. Guy (Help!) 22:18, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
  • Delete as a definite POV fork. Maybe you could merge some of the past views on suicide into the Suicide article, but this shouldn't exist on an encyclopedia. bibliomaniac15 22:34, 28 March 2007 (UTC)
  • merge into suicide because the article contains both good information and support for an alternative POV. Ninja! 04:18, 1 April 2007 (UTC)
  • merge as it stands suicide seems to be remarkably POV given the fact that pro-suicide groups and books have more than a fringe minority status, they've been bestsellers and mentioned (usually in the negative context, but mentioned nevertheless) on numerous talk shows, ect. Some of this could certainly be incorporated into the 1/2 paragraph dedicated to 'debate on suidice' in the main article. Wintermut3 23:26, 28 March 2007 (UTC)

  • Merge into Suicide. Excellent information, properly attributed, of interest to any reader who is researching this subject. Highly encyclopedic and valuable references for a topic too taboo for other encyclopedias. Edit out the junk and it will make a good addition to the suicide article. Jerry 21:26, 1 April 2007 (UTC)

  • Merge useful portions into Suicide and Philosophical views of suicide, eliminating the long, useless list and OR/POV material. -Aleta 03:35, 3 April 2007 (UTC)
  • Merge parts into Philosophical views of suicide. I don't see much here that would go into Suicide once the useful philosophical bits are taken out. Mike Christie (talk) 02:56, 5 April 2007 (UTC)
