[edit] The Franks (band)
Non-notable band page created by a WP:Single-purpose account that has been aggressive about deleting the notability tag. This band fails WP:Music. Most of their potential notability is based on the assertion that an album will be released next year. Qworty (talk) 04:01, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- Delete, article fails to establish notability as per WP:MUSIC. Esradekan Gibb "Talk" 04:30, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- Delete fails this. Speedy delete perhaps? Xdenizen (talk) 05:12, 9 April 2008 (UTC)

- Keep: According to the Wikipedia: Notability (Music), A musician or ensemble (note that this includes a band, singer, rapper, orchestra, DJ, musical theatre group, etc.) is notable if it meets any one of the following criteria: 9. Has won or placed in a major music competition. Surely the Glastonbury New Talent competition, as pretigious as it is, constitutes a 'major music competition'. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Beenie2000 (talk • contribs) 05:43, 10 April 2008
- Delete Fails WP:MUSIC. The "major" music competition isn't in itself notable. Lugnuts (talk) 16:46, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
- Delete per nom - non-notable. Dreamspy (talk) 18:23, 9 April 2008 (UTC)
