The result was delete, and not merge. As far as I can tell there is nothing satifying WP:V to merge. Give it a year or so, if this TV show ever does come out, feel free to recreate the article. --- Deville (Talk) 18:48, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
[edit] The Cheetah Girls (TV Series)
Article about a on-hiatus Cheetah Girls spinoff. Full of crystal balling and speculation, with no reliable sources to verify it's existence. NeoChaosX [talk | contribs] 00:05, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- Delete crystalballism. Can someone tell me why this group is so popular? Danny Lilithborne 01:01, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- KEEP Just because you don't like the Cheetah Girls Danny, doesn't mean that the article has to be deleted. This article does have references, just not accesible by internet. I don't think it should be deleted just because know one on here saw the episode of TRL, that stated this information! This article has been critised way too much, just because some people don't like the Cheetah Girls. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.116.18.207 (talk • contribs)
- Comment I have no opinion of the Cheetah Girls, other than being mystified by their apparent popularity. As for your comment, please read WP:NOT, specifically the part that reads "Wikipedia is not a crystal ball." Danny Lilithborne 01:37, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- Comment: Did this show get on the air? Gazpacho 01:32, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- Delete & Comment Fails WP:V & violates Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. The show was never aired. Michael Greiner 01:36, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- Proof I added links to actual MTV news articles, that prove this shows existence.now that there is proof, there is no reason to delete it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.116.18.207 (talk • contribs)
- Comment First, don't remove the reason I nominated this article. Second, while those articles say it was in production, the show has never been aired. And even with those links, the article is still loaded mostly with speculation and rumors, which do not belong on Wikipedia. –NeoChaosX [talk | contribs] 01:52, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- Comment Your so called "proof" leads to two dead links. Still no sources, still should be deleted. Michael Greiner 02:10, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- KEEP I have seen the MTV episode of TRL and just becuase the show has not been shown yet that does not mean it should be deleted. Haversham Hall has it's own page and it was never picked up/aired. Same for The Cheetah Girls. Even if this is never shown, its still information the public may want to know. —The preceding unsigned comment was added by 69.47.130.72 (talk • contribs) .
- Delete, I distinctly remember this being deleted once before for the same reason. – Someguy0830 (Talk | contribs) 04:31, 31 August 2006 (UTC)

- Delete. This series would be notable if it was actually broadcast, but it hasn't been. As a second choice, very slight merge to The Cheetah Girls with a single sentence saying that a television series was announced but never made it to air. --Metropolitan90 08:29, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- Delete. Wikipedia is not a crystal ball. If the show had been aired, put on the internet or anything maybe not but due to the fact theres no info i suggest deletion.--ScythedRunner 08:32, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- Wikipedia is not a crystal ball doesn't apply here. WilyD 12:53, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- Delete. My understanding is unaired TV shows generally don't get articles unless they've been officially announced as airing. The fact this show was commissioned and then basically cancelled (it's been 2 years, I'd say that's a safe assumption) disqualifies it from getting an article. Merge information of interest into the main Cheetah Girls article. (What's with all the Cheetahcruft we've been seeing lately? 23skidoo 13:13, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- Delete or a best merge to The Cheetah Girls. It's an unaired TV show with very scant information about it. If it does get to air, then by all means recreate the article with facts. -- Whpq 15:35, 31 August 2006 (UTC)
- Delete. Fails WP:V (the first two links have expired). Disney has release three Cheetah Girls movies, and this is just a re-hash of a Very Old article that speculated that the series would be premiering in 2004 ... looks like they went in Another Direction with the property, and previous plans are not worthy of mention here. An why bother to merge a show that never happened to a disambiguation page, anyway? --Dennette 11:05, 1 September 2006 (UTC)
- Keep There is an article at MTV News that has tons of information on The Cheetah Girls TV Series, but if you click on the link it says the article is deletes, but you can type in The Cheetah Girls TV Series or just the Cheetah Girls, in the search bar and the article will show up when you click on the link. there is your evidence and reference. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 66.116.18.207 (talk • contribs)
- Delete, fails WP:V. I decided to use Star Trek: Phase II as a litmus test. The content there shows how scripts were adapted either into the motion picture or The Next Generation episodes, how characters were adapted into the movies, etc. There was a lot of factual evidence, including quoted statements about the show from production personnel. By contast, a lot of information here is speculative. Plus, if four episodes were in the can, at least the episode titles should be out there somewhere. I just don't see there being enough factual evidence here for the article to stand. —C.Fred (talk) 18:12, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
- Comment Um, this article got moved to The Cheetah Girls Sitcom. Is that allowed? Should this AfD be updated to reflect this? –NeoChaosX [talk | contribs] 23:22, 3 September 2006 (UTC)
- KEEP There is more than one link proof that the show was once in production and if deleted then it should me somewhat merged with the girl groups info. Jtervin 00:34, 4 September 2006 (UTC)
- Merge This doesn't need to be an article, just put a short section about it in The Cheetah Girls.--KojiDude 01:34, 5 September 2006 (UTC)
