[edit] Suicide blonde
Neologism. WP:NOT Urban Dictionary. Paul 23:11, 13 October 2005 (UTC)
Move to Wiktionary - I've heard the term too, but with a different meaning. Coolgamer 00:14, 14 October 2005 (UTC)Neologism? I remember figuring out the "dyed by her own hand" pun in the mid-80s and the INXS tune is fifteen years old. Still, Wiktionary. — mendel ☎ 00:18, 14 October 2005 (UTC)- It's hardly a neologism; it's been around for years, more likely decades, as a pun on the "different meaning" (presumably that'd be 'blonde who drives da guys to suicide'). This is a dicdef . Transwiki to Wiktionary. Tonywalton | Talk 00:24, 14 October 2005 (UTC)
- Comment. This usage was in the INXS hit single which was their last top 10 hit in Australia see [1]. From Allmusic.com, I note that the song was a top 10 in the US as well. I would vote to keep if article is expounded to primarily discuss the INXS hit song. Capitalistroadster 00:23, 14 October 2005 (UTC)
- Keep I have written an article about the INXS song. Capitalistroadster 10:49, 14 October 2005 (UTC)
