[edit] St. David School
What makes this school notable? Unlike other Diocese of Oakland schools with articles in Wikipedia there are no mentions of notable faculty, alumni, athletics or academics. Dspserpico 23:50, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
- Comment: Contributor also disputed prod. Dspserpico 23:52, 15 April 2006 (UTC)
- Keep - All schools are notable. Chairman S. Talk 00:13, 16 April 2006 (UTC)
- Comment If the consensus for this article is "keep" then this article would need a serious amount of cleanup and wikifying. However I really do think this school lacks notability. It's a elementary school with no notable faculty or alumni. Most schools that are notable are usually high schools and universities. I highly doubt people outside of Richmond, California has heard of St. David's. I don't think people outside of my hometown would know anything about my elementary school. - Delete. If kept much of the information needs to be deleted and the article needs a major cleanup. Vegaswikian 19:56, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
- Delete See my comments above Dspserpico 20:32, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
- Merge If the info needs deletion, then it can be merged to its district. JeffBurdges 20:39, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
- Comment Can't merge, it's a Catholic School and there is no article about the schools of the Roman Catholic Diocese of Oakland. Dspserpico 21:17, 17 April 2006 (UTC)
- My overriding feeling is that this title should not have an article. Slight merge and redirect to Roman Catholic Diocese of Oakland, otherwise delete. This is not a keep vote. Stifle (talk) 22:55, 19 April 2006 (UTC)
- Keep. This article is too long to merge adequately, and precedent on schools is clear. Sjakkalle (Check!) 08:20, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
- Keep and allow for continued organic growth, not a valid merge candidate. Bahn Mi 17:31, 21 April 2006 (UTC)
