[edit] Sponsors vs Freeloaders
Does not meet the standards for notability in Wikipedia, in contrast to other articles that have been wiped from Wikipedia.. Article was created by a member of the machinima's crew. Tykell 23:09, 1 April 2006 (UTC)
- Although Tykell's own production was just recently deleted, which may make this a WP:POINT violation in the eyes of some, I say Strong Delete, if notability cannot be proven.--Drat (Talk) 05:34, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
- I don't think it's non-notable, and recommend a keep. WP:POINT. Stifle 22:26, 2 April 2006 (UTC)
- Keep - It's a parody of RvB, one of, if not the biggest mechinimas out there, and a featured article. I'd call that notable. Dr. B 02:16, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
- Delete - If Wikipedia wants to maintain any semblance of consistency with its habit of deleting pages (and I've seen some gross inconsistency in the past), it will delete this article. Nine episodes hardly makes it notable as a piece of machinima. JaysCyYoung 02:49, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
- Weak keep Keep, as per Dr. B. Plus, i'm going to go with the "WP:POINT" nomination too by Tykell and Jayscy. The notablitiy isn't in the number of eps, it's in the subject and content. Plus, I barely watch RvB but I've at least heard of this. ⇒ SWATJester Ready Aim Fire! 06:21, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
- Weak keep, for having nominations in multiple categories in the 2005 Rockets on Prisoner Halo machinima awards, and for being an official selection at the 2005 Machinima Film Festival. No awards won, but this does verify that SvF does have some notability within the machinima community. — TKD::Talk 07:41, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
- Delete - Following the links provided by TKD above, and looking at Google and at its forums, I do not feel that this is a notable piece of machinima. Yes, it's WP:POINT from a jilted editor, and but it sounds like one of those things that RvB fans will have heard of, but not care about. - Hahnchen 11:14, 3 April 2006 (UTC)
- Delete-I'm a fan of the show and all, but if OTCS was deleted than I'd say to delete this as well. OTCS was much more known than SVF, so it'd be inconsistant if this isn't deleted. Cinema Void 03:23, 4 April 2006 (UTC)
