[edit] Shakila moved to Shakeela
As the user who originally PRODded this article put it: "A few Shakilas exist on IMDb, but none match. What links here seems to say Shakila is a singer. Either way, a Shakila who has a unique niche in B-grade Indian soft porn either does not exist or is not notable." Sandstein 20:18, 3 March 2006 (UTC) Retracted, see below. - Delete According to the IMDB, there is a real Indian actress called Shakila, who was active from the 1940s through the 1960s. This is obviously not an article about her, and may even be a subtle attack on her or someone else of the same name. Andrew Lenahan - Starblind 21:30, 3 March 2006 (UTC)
- Strong keep The correct spelling is Shakeela and she was notable, er, notorious, for her roles from 2001-2003. Later, she shifted to acting in mainstream movies. IMDB entry is available on this name and refers to her movies. A google search gives 192,000 hits - most of the first 100 hits refer to this person, but as is to be expected, contain less of biographical information but more of pics. --Gurubrahma 13:47, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
- OK, she seems to be notable. I retract the nomination, but the article needs cleanup. Sandstein 13:56, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
- Keep - she's no less notable than some of the Indian actresses who have articles -- and are famous in large part for their lavish self-exposure (Mallika Sherawat). Zora 14:38, 4 March 2006 (UTC)
- Keep - as per others.--Dwaipayanc 16:09, 8 March 2006 (UTC)
