The result was nomination withdrawn--recently discovered that he was U.S. Attorney for Utah during the Clinton administration. By definition, that's notable. Blueboy96 11:44, 9 December 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Scott Matheson Jr.
I really was wary about hitting the delete button on this one ... but this is an unsuccessful candidate in an election. His only other possible claim to notability is that he's a former dean of a major law school, but it doesn't seem that this meets WP:BIO. Blueboy96 22:11, 7 December 2007 (UTC)
- Merge into Matheson family or more famous relations who have articles in their own right. The Mathesons in Utah are like the Kennedys in Massachusetts. Soxthecat (talk) 20:45, 8 December 2007 (UTC)
- Strong keep if expanded. The dean of a major law school is a very distinguished academic position and almost certainly notable, but I do not see that in the article. there are lots of distinguished Kennedys, though I dont think any of them ever held that particular position.
