I don't know what the evidence is that the article is self promotional, and that in itself isn't a justification for deleting it as in this case a Google search reveals that the subject enjoys some notability, including a warm review in the Washington Post.   • I confess I'm not seeing much that's self-promotional, and in any case, as long as the subject's notable that's not a valid reason to delete but rather clean up.
