Non-notable author. My research indicates that his book received only blurb reviews of the type found in Library Journal. Web searches reveal that he may be the husband of Bobbie Ann Mason and may have worked as an editor at Rodale Press, but I cannot locate any significant coverage of him (or his book).   • Comment The article has been tagged for notability since April 2007. I agree that giving time for articles to blossom is a good strategy, but eleven months is plenty of time. --Dhartung | Talk 06:21, 3 March 2008 (UTC)
  • Delete: the article does not establish notability per notability guidelines, namely "the subject of published secondary source material which is reliable, intellectually independent, and independent of the subject.". --EPadmirateur (talk) 21:21, 2 March 2008 (UTC)
