I had nominated this for speedy, but was declined. The page simply details his work as a local councillor and support for a local MP. Since the claim for notability is limited to local government I'm nominating for deletion as per the guidlines for biographies WP:BIO which state "just being an elected local officia... does not guarantee notability."
