The result of the debate was No Consensus, all some form of keep votes. Will redirect to Religion. Redwolf24 (talk) 02:15, 27 August 2005 (UTC)
[edit] Religious
All of this info. can already be found on Religious order. In addition, this is only a Catholic view. This page should either be deleted and have all its info put on Religious orders, or moved to Religious (Catholicism) freestylefrappe 20:45, August 19, 2005 (UTC)
- Redirect and merge. Obviously. Trollderella 23:20, 19 August 2005 (UTC)
- Merge anything useful into Religious order, then redirect to Religion. I don't see why this general adjective should be redirected to a particular religious topic. :) — RJH 18:02, 20 August 2005 (UTC)
- Redirect to Religion, as there doesn't seem to be anything worth merging that isn't already elsewhere. Xoloz 20:21, 20 August 2005 (UTC)
- Keep. Religious is distinct from Religious Order, as it refers to the individual as opposed to the corporate body. The fact that it treats something that is specifically catholic does not make it biased, any more than an article that treats some aspect of another religion or group. --Tbook 22:54, 22 August 2005 (UTC)
See the good explanation of why to keep the page on Talk:Religious. I don't know of anyone other than Catholics who use the term "Religious" as a noun, but if there are such people, the article could be renamed Religious (Catholicism) or some such thing.
