[edit] Plan of Attack (computer game)
As was agreed in the http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Articles_for_deletion/Half-Life_2_DeathMatch_Pro debate, individual mods for video games are not inherently notable and do not deserve Wikipedia articles, no matter how colorful and well written. Plan of Attack (computer game) is another HL2 Mod article and on this same principle, I move it for deletion as non-notable matter. Additionally, this article and game mod articles of it's kind are advertizements stuck into Wikipedia and are matter more suitable for fan sites and game promotional websites, neither of which is a function of Wikipedia. I nominate this page for deletion as useless fancruft and an advertizement. GestaltG 18:49, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
Keep Another notable game wrongly up for deletion. Englishrose 22:15, 7 January 2006 (UTC)
- Strong Delete: it's not a game article, it's just a mod, and as such is not notable per precedent cited. -- Thesquire (talk - contribs) 06:11, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
- Keep The "precedent" you all are citing is nothing; four votes out of hundreds of thousands of users establishes a precendent? Yeah right. These delete votes need to be handled on a case-by-case basis, not by phony precedent. I'm voting for KEEP because this is a released mod with many players and has been featured in PC Gamer. - Keep The idea that a mod does not deserve an article simply because it is not a complete game is bull. I am not voting for every mod to be allowed an article, but mods such as this are very popular and therefore this article should be kept. -- Ortzinator 06:04, 12 January 2006 (UTC)
- Keep A mod called 'my-first-little-mod' adding a weapon that shoots 50% faster does not really add anything and a page of it should be removed.A mod like plan of attack however is pretty much an entirely new game with a new community.Deletion of this would be ridiculous.~@BLOODy
