[edit] Persecution of Abrahamists
This article essentially has no content other than links to our existing articles Persecution of Jews, Persecution of Christians, Anti-Mormonism, and Persecution of Muslims. No indication that this catchall term is anything but a neologism. NawlinWiki 16:37, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
- Delete. Seems like at best those links might merit a "see also" in the article Abrahamic Religion. Moonriddengirl 16:45, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
- Delete as apparently there is not enough material for an article, although I don't know where "neologism" comes into play. Is putting two words together a neologism, now? Instruction creep? --Dhartung | Talk 17:04, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
- Comment I was just trying to make the point that there's no reason to have an article with this title, because there's no evidence that anyone actually uses the phrase "Persecution of Abrahamists". It doesn't matter to me whether we call it a neologism or not. NawlinWiki 17:25, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
- Comment That's a bit strict. So if we had a source that discussed "harassment of Abrahamists" or "Abrahamists beat up" or "Abrahamists discriminated against" or whatnot, we'd be unable to say "persecution" or wrap all these things into one article? Sometimes the "does the source use THIS EXACT PHRASE" thing is taken too far. --Dhartung | Talk 19:48, 27 July 2007 (UTC)

- Delete, because no actual content. Disagree with the neologism position of the nom, though. Oli Filth 17:06, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
- Delete or change into a category to contain those articles linked to in this article. Nyttend 17:27, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
- Delete; little more than a useless disambiguation page. Ragaxus 19:55, 27 July 2007 (UTC)
- Delete; Liftarn still seems to be disappointed that Persecution of Germanic Pagans is only a disambiguation page and that he did not get Religious discrimination against Asatru linked at Template:Religious persecution; See the respective discussion pages. Zara1709 14:44, 28 July 2007 (UTC)
- Delete or let's just replace this with a list of Persecution of Everyone in the World and throw in a bunch of other links. Mandsford 00:09, 30 July 2007 (UTC)
- Comment: Since the expression "Abrahamist" is derived from the phrase "religion of Abraham" in the Qur'an' I don't think it can be called a neologism. (see Abrahamic religion#Origin of the expression). // Liftarn
