[edit] Pemberton Avenue (Toronto)
A non-notable local street in northern Toronto. Not a main thoroughfare, no historical relevance. Suttungr (talk) 02:45, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
- Note: The following have been notified: Ontario deletion sorting, WikiProject Toronto, and WikiProject Canada Roads. –Pomte 13:15, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
- Delete With so many major notable roads in Canada's largest city, it's hard for me to see how a small street in suburban Willowdale merits an article. Shawn in Montreal (talk) 16:04, 8 January 2008 (UTC)
- Delete Pemberton Avenue has no historical significance, unlike Homewood Avenue, De Grassi Street, Palmerston Boulevard, or Vaughan Road, all of which are side streets or local collector roads with historical significance. Homewood has Victorian housing, De Grassi lends its name to a popular television program, Palmerston has antique streetlamps, and Vaughan originally linked Toronto with the City of Vaughan. - Delete Hardly a WP:50k street. Grutness...wha? 01:02, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- Delete, with the added bonus that we've done this before — meaning that this could potentially be speedied as a G4. Bearcat (talk) 03:32, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
- Yep, this was a G4, all right. The article was word-for-word identical to the deleted version. Speedied. Bearcat (talk) 04:00, 9 January 2008 (UTC)
