The result was Speedy deleted as a joke article in its current form Recreate the article if it can be created in an encyclopedic fashion, but the previous state of the article was simply a joke - Wikipedia is not for something made up in school one day, and I highly doubt that an article that exclaims how a certain bear has never shaved once in its life is relevant to No Shave November. [edit] No Shave November
Absolutely no media coverage that I could find. Seems like a holiday someone made up one day (although not necessarily in school.) Naturally, it has problems with verifiability per WP:V. Crystallina 19:13, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
It's a perfectly legitimate thing, people all over the country are going to be doing it so why not have it on Wikipedia? Crystallina, i know you're from LUE and you should support things like this.
- Weak Keep - Some of the students at my college did this, and from a bit of googling I see other schools 'participate' as well. While the 'holiday' certainly started when some kids at some school invented it after a long night of drinking (no sources, just my suspicion) it is important to recognize that even a concept that began as a pipe dream can become noteworthy after enough people catch the fever (for example). I'd certainly need to see the article expanded in order to give my full-fledged support, but I'm optimistic about its potential. -bobby 19:45, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
- Delete It's a joke, as the use of images makes clear. Emeraude 20:02, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
- Neutral, it's known as "moustache november" around my parts, and I figure we could find some articles in college papers about it. If we do, I'll go to keep. Night Gyr (talk/Oy) 20:04, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
- Keep per the sources given by Night Gyr. --Daniel Olsen 21:08, 27 October 2006 (UTC)
