[edit] Nishiki rice
Has anyone ever heard of this product, I mean, it may not be notable, yet it doesn't have any refs of notability. So delete as nom. —BoL 03:45, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
- Comment I won't vote, as I have been watching the nominator verbally attack the original author relentlessly, but it does have 29k ghits and may or may not be notable. My point is the nomination appears to be loaded after nom reporting author to Vandal desk (was refused) and other issues. See authors talk, User_talk:C_S for info. - If it's notable, how come he won't add the links? He needs the links in order to survive. —BoL 04:02, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
- Actually, that is not true. You need to actually READ the policies on deletion. For an article to be notable, it must be verifiable (not verified) by reliable sources. A lack of sources is the DEFACTO reason to IMPROVE an article, not delete it. Please take the time to actually read WP:NOTABILITY before nominating articles in the future. For some reason, your hatred of the author of the article has blinded you to common sense and the policies here. The article is ONE HOUR OLD. Since it is not a candidate for speedy (in spite of you trying to speedy RICE as db-bio....) you should give the author a few days to provide citations. Pharmboy (talk) 04:06, 1 January 2008 (UTC)
