Advert for company selling CD version of Wikipedia that gets 1 hit other than their own Web site. Niteowlneils 21:53, 8 May 2004 (UTC)
- Yuck. This is just... Ugh. Delete -- Cyrius|✎ 22:39, May 8, 2004 (UTC)
- Self-serving promotion. Non-encyclopedic. Delete. It even gives a faint impression that Wikipedia is endorsing this parasitic enterprise... and associates Wikipedia with a home envelope-stuffing offer (most if not all such offers are scams). Dpbsmith 02:36, 9 May 2004 (UTC)

- While waiting for the vote to complete, I edited the article to reduce the spam and POV aspects. I still want to see the article deleted and will be very, very, discouraged if it should end up getting preserved as an unintentional consequence of my editing. Dpbsmith 12:30, 9 May 2004 (UTC)
- $29.95 for something I could get in superior form for free? Yaaaaay! Hook me up, and delete with extreme prejudice and Wikiviolence. Lord Bob 02:38, May 9, 2004 (UTC)
- Disgusting self promotion of a parasitic product. Delete with extreme prejudice. DO'Neil 02:41, 9 May 2004 (UTC)
- Delete, spam. --Stormie 03:38, May 9, 2004 (UTC)
- Delete, spam. They don't need to promote their overpriced CDs here. andy 10:35, 9 May 2004 (UTC)
- Yup, delete. Their parent company's website did provide me some brief amusement though, from a paragraph talking about their stupid enelope stuffing thing: This isn't some sort of envelope stuffing scheme or chain letter, this is an honest opportunity to begin earning money by stuffing envelopes from home!. Amazing opportunity I reckon, who else is going to sign up... - Ams80 (signed on behalf [1])
- Delete. Undeserved publicity for a completely broken mirror running some kind of scam (every page contains a dead "contents" link, absolutely no information of what it is you'd be buying). We want nothing to do with these people. Personally, I'd favour blanking the page while we wait out the VfD incubation period, to avoid anyone crawling or mirroring it, but I know there's precedent against that kind of thing. - IMSoP 13:32, 9 May 2004 (UTC)
- Boy, does this ever deserve a slow and lingering death. Kudos to Dpbsmith for attempting to polish this you-know-what in the meantime. Delete. - Lucky 6.9 03:46, 10 May 2004 (UTC)
- Speedy delete. Alcarillo 16:12, 10 May 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Just delete that thing, and please do it fast! Sid 16:48, 10 May 2004 (UTC)

- Comment: "This is the creator of the article nexuscience. I would like to apologize for the sales format in which I originally wrote the article. I would also like to ask those persons who have voted for the deletion of the article to please read Wikipedia talk:Mirrors and forks#Nexuscience. I had not meant to offend anybody here. I had actually thought that offering the Wikipedia on CD-ROM would be a welcome idea here. That being said, talk of the offer being some sort of 'scam' is bothersome to me. I would never have wanted to make such a bad impression. Any person from Wikipedia who wishes to verify the authenticity of my offer may download the entire Encyclopedia here. You may be correct in deleting the article, however, I do think that being the first commercial entity to be selling the Wikipedia on CD-ROM is a relevant subject." 68.203.192.35 16:35, 13 May 2004 (UTC)
- Delete. Spam, pure and simple. -- Stevietheman 01:31, 15 May 2004 (UTC)
