[edit] Neve Sha'anan (Jerusalem)
AfDs for this article:
Delete - No WP:RS found to verify the existence of this neighborhood. Even if it isn't WP:MADEUP it is extremely doubtful that such a tiny area would be WP:N Mayalld (talk) 13:44, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
- Note: This debate has been included in the list of Israel-related deletion discussions. —Jon513 (talk) 14:00, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
- Keep It would be very strange to have an almost complete Category:Neighbourhoods of Jerusalem. Better just to include all of them then to delete a few borderline notable areas and lack complete coverage. Also the Hebrew Wikipedia has an article on the subject and they are notoriously deletonist Jon513 (talk) 14:00, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
- Delete this non-notable neighbourhood. It does not inherit notability from other neighbourhoods. Springnuts (talk) 14:50, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
WeakKeep This is a well-defined neighborhood in Jerusalem, one of many places in Israel with the same name, and one of many articles covering neighborhoods in Jerusalem. A delete is disruptive and counterproductive, given that a merge to other articles, e.g. List of places in Jerusalem, should have been considered as a far less destructive option. Alansohn (talk) 21:44, 3 January 2008 (UTC)- Comment - so well defined that I seem to be having difficulty finding a reliable source for it. Mayalld (talk) 21:48, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
- There are plenty of sources (just in hebrew). Jon513 (talk) 21:52, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
- In addition to the 40,000 plus references in Hebrew from the above search, the Hebrew Wikipedia version of this article provides coverage that would seem to meet all relevant notability standards for neighborhood and community articles. As such, my vote has been changed to reflect the additional information. Alansohn (talk) 22:06, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

- Keep - Real neighborhood in extremely historic city. The nom needs to understand that sources aren't always in English and frequently not in Latin characters. See Wikipedia:WikiProject Countering systemic bias. And nominating an article that's not obviously made up or spam within 20 minutes of its creation is not helpful to this project. --Oakshade (talk) 03:42, 4 January 2008 (UTC)
- Keep Numerous references in Hebrew to pass WP:N. пﮟოьεԻ 57 19:47, 5 January 2008 (UTC)
