[edit] Neil Carpathios
Non-notable poet failing WP:BIO and WP:V. No independent reliable sources. He's published a few chapbooks out of indie presses, but the most popular of the lot hasn't broken two millionth in Amazon.com's sales rank. The article asserts that Carpathios has won awards, but said awards are through an obscure poetry review and press run out of a California junior college, and have only 89 total Google hits and zero reliable sources to bolster their own notability. - Comment Something's wonky with the AFD notice on the article -- it's not linking to thsi properly. —Quasirandom (talk) 17:28, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Delete per WP:V and WP:BIO. --Eustress (talk) 17:44, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Weak delete. Twice nominated for the Pushcart Prize isn't nothing, but then it's done by the publisher. If there's nothing else to go on except a NN chapbook award, I don't think he's there yet. --Dhartung | Talk 19:03, 15 May 2008 (UTC)
- Delete Doesn't meet WP:BIO. Additionally, this discussion is still a redlink from the page and I'm not sure how to fix it. Jasynnash2 (talk) 09:20, 16 May 2008 (UTC)
- Strong Delete. His little chapbooks woefully fail WP:BK. Qworty (talk) 05:09, 20 May 2008 (UTC)
