[edit] Muhammad Abdul Haque
The article lacks reliable sources that would verify this person's notability. I tried googling for better sources and found none; if they exist in another character set, I'll need someone else to find them. Prod removed by creator without comment or improvement. - Speedy delete per Dennis the Tiger. Non-notable. NF24(radio me!Editor review) 21:38, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
- Comment Not sure if being a "former district BNP president"[1] provides notability (probably not but hopefully other members of WP:BANGLADESH will be able to confirm) but it's not a speedy. → AA (talk) — 22:45, 6 November 2007 (UTC)
- Delete I don't think being district-head of any political pary of Bangladesh is any notable achievement. Also simply being mentioned in the newspaper is not enough evidence of coverage from independent secondary source. Arman (Talk) 01:29, 7 November 2007 (UTC)

- Comment - think this one needs more expert input. The Bangladesh Nationalist Party is one of the two major parties in Bangladesh. Sylhet Division is one of the six Divisions of Bangladesh. So to be President of the Sylhet branch of the BNP could well be notable? Let's be careful not to allow systemic bias to delete someone who wouldn't be deleted if he was a Westerner. --Stormie 05:35, 8 November 2007 (UTC)
- Keep. I think this discussion may well have been influenced by systemic bias. The population of the Sylhet Division is greater than that of Arizona or Greater London, and I'm sure an article on the 12-year leader of one of the main polical parties in those places would be accepted under WP:N. References have now been provided. Phil Bridger 13:53, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
- Keep as per Phil Bridger; seems notable, is referenced Noroton 21:38, 10 November 2007 (UTC)
