[edit] Mohammad Moustafa Haddara
This proseline is begging to be converted into an article, but I can't do it because I can't find an English source – not one. Google returned less than 10 hits, including AlexNewArtBot's COI lists. If there's no way to verify his notability, the article should be deleted. KrakatoaKatie 06:23, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Weak Delete due to lack of sources establishing notability. A search in Arabic returns many more hits than a search on just one possible transliteration. However, my Arabic does not go beyond character recognition so I'm unable to tell if any are reliable sources. If someone can provide sources I will reconsider. - In case anyone would fancy searching for him, here is his name in Arabic: محمد مصطفى هدارة. Alfons Åberg 08:25, 16 September 2007 (UTC)

- Delete unless somebody can establish notability. --Crusio 10:34, 16 September 2007 (UTC)
- Comment. I can't help with sources as my knowledge of Arabic is zero, but according to the article he was Vice Dean for post-graduate studies in the arts faculty at Alexandria University (according to our article, the second largest university in Egypt) as well as Dean of the Faculty of Arts at the University of Tanta. A person holding such posts is very likely to meet WP:PROF. Deleting an article simply because it lacks English sources should be avoided where at all possible because of the potential for regional bias, and transliterated names are notoriously problematic for Google searches. - Keep, for the same reasons as Expresso Addict. the presumption is for notability if the positions are notable. I have not yet checked the various possibilities for published books--there should be some. DGG (talk) 10:23, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- Keep. Notable enough, by appearances. • Lawrence Cohen 19:38, 17 September 2007 (UTC)
- Delete reads like a cv for a prof, not clear that he'd meet WP:PROF given that close call and the miserable state of the article if he falls on the fair side of notability - it'll be back, perhaps presentably. Carlossuarez46 00:14, 22 September 2007 (UTC)
