The result was delete. The previous AfD's of such lists provide a general precedent, though not a binding one. Arguments for deletion were convincing. If there is irreplaceable material lost with this deletion that an editor wishes to merge into other Harry Potter articles, let me know and I can see about providing it. [edit] Minor Harry Potter beasts

The article is a recitation of plot summary from the Harry Potter books and has no other information. The article basically says nothing that isn't plot summary, has no notability, and should be deleted. Judgesurreal777 20:18, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

  • Keep or Merge With a small number of exception this article deals with creatures created by Rowling that have NOT appeared in any of the books except minor mentions or only in Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them.. The majority of creatures that have been mentioned Frequently e.g. Norbert, played major parts Fluffy, or are not creations of Rowling's have been kept out of the article. --Kevmin 22:13, 7 September 2007 (UTC)
I count as a harry potter book "Fantastic Beasts", and we don't need plot summary of that book either. Judgesurreal777 22:14, 7 September 2007 (UTC)

  • Transwiki to Harry Potter pedia because there is no notability established Corpx 05:20, 8 September 2007 (UTC)
  • Delete - For much the same reasons as the Mythical creatures in Harry Potter AfD, (cruftiness etc), but having said that, this is even less notable than that article due to its "minor" subjects. I Oppose Merging to Magical beasts (Harry Potter) seeing as that article's prodded as well, and could very well be deleted too.   • Merge Acromantula to HP2, merge the four relevant dragons to HP4 and make sure the information on thestral here is also at the main article. Axe everything else. i said 23:04, 10 September 2007 (UTC)
