- Delete as non-notable. Many tourists underestimate the dangers of swimming in Florida ponds and some are attacked by alligators (not as many as the media would have you believe but still). Few of those attacks result in death, as the article correctly points out. But neither of those facts do in itself make a death, as tragic as it may be, notable. I'm all in favor of educating people about the dangers of dealing with wild animals (that's why we have those signs posted everywhere) but this isn't the place. NN.
