[edit] Mendicity
This entry consists of (a) an (inaccurate) dictionary definition, and (b) a hoax description of an "International Committee for the Introduction of Mendicity in the English Language" which does not exist because it does not need to: the word "mendicity" is already in the English language - see any dictionary - and has been (according to the SOED), since the Late Middle English period, 14th-15th century.
