[edit] Maurine Karagianis
Yet another non-elected British Columbia general election, 2005 candidate. Note that I fully support recreation of this article if she's actually elected in May, but I don't agree with having articles about non-elected candidates in a future election on the basis that they might win. IMO it sets a bad precedent that's entirely too open to abuse. Bearcat 01:11, 16 Mar 2005 (UTC)

- I'm going with Keep on this one. Karagianis is running for a major party in a riding that, until fairly recently, was considered safe for the party in question. Also, the article is encyclopedic, not vanity. CJCurrie 01:43, 16 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- I concur. Keep. Samaritan 03:27, 29 Mar 2005 (UTC)

- Delete--I'll accept actual members of provincial legislatures, or major-party candidates for national legislatures, but not candidates for provincial legislatures. Meelar (talk) 03:46, Mar 16, 2005 (UTC)
- Keep, but perhaps review it once the results of the election are in. - SimonP 04:12, Mar 16, 2005 (UTC)
- Keep, cleanup and expand. Megan1967 06:06, 16 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete, non-elected = non-notable. Radiant! 08:51, Mar 16, 2005 (UTC)
- Delete - NDPcruft, unless Karagianis actually wins. --Calton | Talk 00:29, 18 Mar 2005 (UTC)
- Delete because it is presented as a candidate bio-puff-piece. Might be worth a real article, but this isn't it. -- Jmabel | Talk 04:24, Mar 19, 2005 (UTC)
