Proposed deletion by User:Kevin1243 was contested. The original concern was that the article does not make any claims about its subject's notability. The article is also written from a very slanted point of view that does not support its claims with reliable sources. If not deleted, this article still needs work done before it will meet even basic standards of quality for a stub. BassoProfundo 22:59, 11 July 2007 (UTC)

  • Delete I cant see any notable here--but NPOV? There was an earlier sentence, apparently an attempt to assert some sort of notability ,"It has been around for many years and will be around for many years to come." but it got removed. The article never even said when the school wasactually founded. DGG (talk) 01:42, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
    • Comment. An earlier version of the page also said that "Loma Vista Middle School is an enjoyable place to learn, make friends, play sports, and get an education," essentially a promotion for the school. Obviously, point of view is not a reason to delete an article, but it does raise concerns about whether the author thought the encyclopedia would benefit from an article on the school, or whether the school would benefit from an article on the encyclopedia.   • Delete Prior NPOV concerns aside, no notability has been asserted, nor have I been able to locate any references for it (google search, browing library books on education and middle schools) spazure 08:35, 12 July 2007 (UTC)
