[edit] Landover Baptist Church
This article is unencyclopedic and has next to no reliable sources on the internet. The page looks pretty controversial and lacks any verifiability at all. Most of the article is original research and unreliable information. The article is not a notable subject either. The sunder king 17:01, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
- Keep This is a famous parody site, subject of a great deal of kerfluffle over the years. I don't see where all the supposed "original research" is lurking, either. --Orange Mike 17:34, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
- Users summary "I like the article, don't get rid of it". The sunder king 17:38, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
- That's both false and uncivil, sunderking! --Orange Mike 18:00, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
- Keep I'd be very surprised if there weren't plenty of WP:RS and WP:V for an article on this parody and satire site. It's been around for several years. I note that G-hits on the exact name is 140,000. Apparently from "American Atheist Magazine" is this article. From the Charlotte Observer is this. Unfortunately they are both paid services so I can't read them. I got them from this Google News search list of 23 stories. Pigman 17:44, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
- Keep as noteworthy as any other articles in Joke religion category.Racepacket 17:48, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
- Keep due to having a published book from a major publisher. Not many parody websites besides maybe The Onion can make that claim. Andrew Lenahan - Starblind 18:04, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
- Keep One other article I found on google news and which can be read for free is from TheForce.Net. So together with the pay-per-view articles and the book, should pass WP:WEB. --Allefant 19:03, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
- Keep - media coverage and publication of the book indicate a reasonable level of notability. Tony Fox (arf!) 20:23, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
- Keep Notable, and sourced. I say keep. Atomic Religione 22:05, 18 October 2007 (UTC)
- Close- whilst I didn't know much about the site itself, I am withdrawing because it seems to have got people to find sources and improve the article itself. It no longer in my opinion warrants the deletion criteria, thank you for your help. The sunder king 10:56, 19
