[edit] Joseph Townsend Stirling
Issue is verifiability of the sole claim to notability. Article claims it's sourced from Veterans Affairs but they appear to have no record of this man with or without the middle name. If that can't be verified then he fails WP:BIO Travellingcari (talk) 05:05, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- Delete. Regardless of that, I think it's saying he was given the Meritorious Service Decoration (Military Cross), which ranks fifth among Canadian distinguished service medals. --Dhartung | Talk 05:17, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- Delete. per WP:MILMOS#NOTE (showing off my alphabet knowledge). --brewcrewer (yada, yada) 05:58, 22 February 2008 (UTC)
- Speedy Delete Having the Canadian Military Cross is not even an assertion of notablility. I can find no claim of notability in the article, so I suggest Speedy Delete per A7. Dgf32 (talk) 23:52, 28 February 2008 (UTC)
