Dhartung, WP:LOCAL refers to places of local interest, not local history; also it's an essay, not a guideline. I'd never seen it before -- thanks for pointing it out as I think it's very good. It's just not applicable here. --A. B. (talk) 21:39, 10 December 2007 (UTC)
  • Delete -- Google News archive turns up local news sports results for this person and someone (a son?) with the same name but I didn't find anything that I thought really addressed our Notability Guideline.
