The "Irish bowline" knot discussed in this article shows no evidence of ever having been used or written generally about in the real world, thus appears to fail WP:N. While it was published in a single issue of Knotting Matters (the IGKT's official publication) no commonly available sources are available which discuss this knot, and generally it appears to be a "vanity knot", so to speak.
