The result was delete. No external reliable sources have been provided and I did an additional news search in case anyone in the discussion had missed anything. All that there was were a few passing mentions. no original research and verifiability are not negotiable and there is no point in having a 1 line stub of the form "Hyatt Regency Birmingham is a large hotel in Birmingham." If someone can find significant sourcing that meets WP:RS they are welcome to recreate the article. JoshuaZ 16:19, 6 July 2007 (UTC)
[edit] Hyatt Regency Birmingham
Unnotable hotel, like thousands of others. Clarityfiend 21:55, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
- Delete as common and non-notable chain hotel. Bearian 21:59, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
- Comment I agree that the Birmingham building is not notable although, you're saying non-notable hotel chain, euh Hyatt is one of the biggest international hotel chains.--JForget 23:48, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
- Comment. If I had meant to say that the Hyatt Regency was a nn chain, I would have nominated that article. Clarityfiend 00:35, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

- Delete per Bearian. Certainly a lovely building, but that doesn't make it notable, it just makes it aesthetically appealing. --Dennis The Tiger (Rawr and stuff) 22:05, 28 June 2007 (UTC)
- Delete origional research--SefringleTalk 22:09, 28 June 2007 (UTC)

- Keep - not for the fact the fact that it is actually hotel, there are plenty of hotels in Birmingham which have articles, but for the building itself. It is a prominent landmark on Birmingham's skyline. - Erebus555 11:39, 29 June 2007 (UTC)

- Weak keep as what seems to be a fairly noteworthy building. That's not to say that every Hyatt hotel should have an article, of course. Adrian M. H. 21:13, 30 June 2007 (UTC)
- Delete per Bearian. Its an abomination too, but I'm ignoring that in my "vote". Bigdaddy1981 16:43, 2 July 2007 (UTC)
