[edit] Hussein 'Abd al-Majid
Given the lack of information about Saddam Hussein's father, this page should be deleted and the information in the article merged into the Wikipedia article on Saddam Hussein.--TommyBoy 08:20, 1 January 2006 (UTC)
- This afd nomination was orphaned. Listing now. —Crypticbot (operator) 15:49, 1 January 2006 (UTC)
- So merge and redirect per your suggestion. There's no need to afd. The article's contents are already on the Saddam Hussein article, besides the Arabic spelling of his name. - Bobet 16:16, 1 January 2006 (UTC)
- ideally expand and keep failing that merge with Saddam Hussein Jcuk 22:36, 1 January 2006 (UTC)
- Keep - Saddam's father=notable to me - max rspct leave a message 21:34, 1 January 2006 (UTC)
- Comment, that's why it would stay as a redirect to a place with more information about him. However, he was a shepherd (according to the Saddam Hussein article; information you missed because this wasn't a redirect :( ), so there's no room for growth for this article. Being related to a famous person isn't notable on itself. - Bobet 14:20, 4 January 2006 (UTC)
- Delete, nothing to merge. Gazpacho 02:38, 8 January 2006 (UTC)
