[edit] Georgia right to life
Non-notable organization. State organizations are rarely notable in their own rights. Corvus cornix 23:04, 15 October 2007 (UTC)
- Merge - We have New York State Right to Life Party and Colorado Right to Life articles too. I'm not sure if we have any others, but I didn't see them in my quick search. These could all be merged into Right to life or National Right to Life Committee if they are in fact affiliated state-level groups. Torc2 00:01, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
- Delete I had a long explanation that got lost. *sigh* Server overload, I think. I follow Torc2's reasoning but I think merging would give too much prominence to one or two state chapters over the rest of the state chapters. If there were WP:RS to substantiate the info, maybe. But delete seems the proper course to me. Pigman 01:41, 16 October 2007 (UTC)
- I considered the notability issue before creating the article, as I could see Torc2's point for many state affiliates. However GRTL is starting to cause national debate over their amendment, and has made news in Townhall.com, InsiderAdvantage, WorldNetDaily.com and others. The public scrutiny is only going to increase, thus I thought a wikipedia article would be appropriate. This state is what the pro-life debate will be about over the next year or more.
